Chotu Gang ready to surrender, requests for apology

RAJANPUR: After losing hope and his 40 men, Chief of the Chotu Gang, Ghulam Rasool is ready to surrender. However, he has some demands. While talking to a private news channel, Chotu Gang chief Ghulam Rasool agreed to surrender. “We don’t want to fight with the Army. However, we will only surrender once Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan hold talks with us,” said Rasool. Referring to his demands, Rasool said: “We have nothing left on which we could make a demand. We just want to request Interior ministry for an apology.” According to sources, Army and paramilitary have taken control of some parts of Kacha as gangsters retreat deeper in the bushes. Meanwhile, the occupants of the nearby hotels have biometrically been screened. DG ISPR Lieutenant General Asim Saleem Bajwa said all the resources will be used to accomplish the mission. During 18 days of ongoing operation, ten policemen lost their lives and several received bullet wounds. 27 policemen have also been taken hostage by over 100 dacoits hiding in the kacha area.
