ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said on Monday that if top leaders of PPP, Asif Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari declare their assets, the whole issue will resolve. Speaking to media after inaugurating a National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) centre in the capital’s Blue Area, he said that Zardari and Bilawal are the only two politicians in Pakistan, who have not declared their assets. The minister said that if Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan wants to launch a movement against corruption and wants Bilawal and himself on the same container against Nawaz government on Panama leaks scandal, he should first ask PPP Chairman about Surrey Palace scandal before “bringing him on container against corruption. “It would be good if the leaders of two different parties get together on the same container, but I request Imran Khan to ask Bilawal about Surrey palace, diamond necklace, and Swiss accounts before bringing him on the container,” he said. Nisar said that Zardari did not declare his assets when he was president.
