Early defrost in Greenland: Global Warming

MEHWISH   DENMARK:  According to recent analysis by the Danish Meteorological Institute (DMI) here a huge region of Greenland is experiencing an alarming early spring defrost.   Summer like temperatures of 10 degrees Celsius in spring has contributed to the 12% of the already melted area of globe’s northern ice sheet, according to the analysis. Normally the melting of ice sheet doesn’t occur until May. “It is very unusual situation, especially so early in the year” said climate scientist Martin Stendel. It is one of the dreadful impacts of global warming.
