MUZAFFARABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said on Friday that no one could stop the independence movement of Kashmir as the people of Kashmir have decided to stand with Pakistan. He was addressing a public gathering on the occasion of the PML-N’s win in the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Legislative Assembly election. “Their [Kashmiris] movement for freedom cannot be stopped and it will be successful. The world knows about the brutal killings of the people of Kashmir. All our prayers are with them,” he said. PM Nawaz said that he is waiting for the day when Kashmir will become Pakistan. He also said that he saluted the Kashmiri people on eliminating the ‘negative’ politics from Kashmir. “I saw the election results at night and thought that if our victory is evident, I will travel to Muzaffarabad to congratulate my brothers and sisters,” he said adding that he is thankful to the Kashmiris for their support.
