Pakistan, Japan agree to expand cooperation in energy, education

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Japan have signed two agreements to bolster cooperation in energy and education sectors, Radio Pakistan reported Tuesday. The agreements to this effect were signed in Islamabad today. Under the agreements, Japan will provide grants worth 17.5 million dollars to strengthen training facilities on power grid operations and to build around 25 girls schools in Northern Rural Sindh.
