KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has dissolved the provincial cabinet following the resignation of Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah. According to PPP media cell, the new Sindh cabinet would be formed after consulting with senior leadership. Sindh CM Qaim Ali Shah on Wednesday presented his resignation to the Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan at Governor House. Newly-nominated Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah, Sindh Assembly Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani and Senior Minister for Education Nisar Khuhro were also present. Speaking to media representatives outside the Governor House, Ebad said he has approved Sindh CM’s resignation, adding that the provincial government would continue to seek advantage from the experience of Qaim Ali Shah. Syed Murad Ali Shah will take control of the provincial government on Friday. The oath taking would be conducted on the same day at the Governor House.
