M.M.ALAM PARIS: Almost one-and-a-half-year after the killing of eight members of Charlie Hebdo editorial staff, French police are investigating yet another stream of death threats posted on the weekly’s Facebook. The messages were removed by an unknown person before another threat was sent via post. An investigation initiated covertly a week ago by local police has revealed that the magazine has received twenty ‘very threatening messages’ saying that several of the publication’s journalists would be murdered. The offices of Charlie Hebdo in Paris were attacked by two brothers on January 7th last year. They were carrying a number of weapons including assault rifles. They killed eleven people and injured another eleven. Though the offices have been placed under enhanced security he magazine operates from a top secret location.
