MEHWISH CALIFORNIA: A new study carried out here demonstrates that singles are more vulnerable to die of cancer as compared to married people. “It shows the major contributing factor is greater social support, and less social isolation, among married patients,” said study leader Scarlett Lin Gomez. 19% of unmarried women are more likely to die where as single men marks 27% to die of tumors. The research was result of study conducted on 783,000 patients diagnosed with cancer in California during 2000 to 2009, among which 387,000 died by 2012.
